Want to visit the real Scotland and experience the real Scottish culture, rather than a brigadoon-esqueBrigadoon - 1954 Musical starring Gene Kelly. Known for its all American cast and stereotypical depiction of the Scottish Highlands. Now refers to anything overly twee or excessively stereotypical. mockery created purely for the tourist industry? It's there - but rarely seen by tourists.
